Gargoyle Fists
Gargoyle fists do 2D. Is this a HTH only weapon or can they attack into adjacent hexes?

They can attack into adjacent hexes. So can human unarmed attacks, though humans do one less point of damage with fists outside of HTH.

Re: Gargoyle Fists
And a gargoyle with Brawling does 2d+2 (2d+3 in HTH).

Re: Gargoyle Fists
Does the Warrior/Fighter bonus of +1 to damage stack on that? I seem to recall All Warrior/Fighters get a +1 in any type of non-armed combat, where wizards and civilians do not.

My question is... shouldn't there be a ST adjustment? It seems odd that a 14 ST PC gargoyle and a 20 ST summoned gargoyle do the exact same damage with their fists in melee.

Re: Gargoyle Fists
The only +1 that I can think of that MIGHT be what you're thinking of is the +1 everyone gets in HTH. Would that be it?

to be clear, in ITL pg. 122 Combat with Bare hands, it says " a fighter in hand-to-hand combat does the appropriate amount of damage for his ST as above (chart) plus 1" I interpret that as a warrior and not so much all of the non-warrior types. but i could be wrong, I was married. |

I think just referencing the damage done by strength chart would address this. granted there isn't a large difference between 14 & 20 ST for base damage, there is indeed a difference. |
