Star Munchkin (Revised)

Got a quick question guys,

Been planning on picking up Star Munchkins, but noticed there is a revised version coming out shortly.
Amazon has a preorder for August 18th, so I assume the stores don't have it yet either.

I was wondering: Should I just wait for the revised edition? I looked at the FAQ and there did not seem to be any major change.
I assume if I get an older version I will have need to used the updated rules on the FAQ..but anything else?

Figured you guys would know better then most :)

All versions of Munchkin printed after May 2010 have been updated with current rules, a Die, and updated verbage on some cards (such as super munchkin and the + enchancements)

You can check out the change logs in the news of worldofmunchkin.com for more details on what changes happened with that specific set.

If you do get the older set, you can always get the updated cards in September with Go Up A Level. If you're already planning on getting GUAL (for, say, your Fantasy set, if you have one) then I'd be tempted to get the older Star Munchkin now; you'll end up with more use for of the GUAL set.

Of course, GUAL is supposed to be a fairly limited run, so there is the off chance that you won't get a copy....

I don't own any other sets so I suppose I should wait for the revised version.

Now the hard part...waiting a month and a half... :)

More than that. Amazon's date is wrong. And since we haven't announced a date for the reprint . . . you can assume it's October or later.
