Default Realm Magic questions (Using a WoD context)

So reading the Realm Magic rules, on a 1-6 scale with 6 being the unobtainable possessed by unstatted god like characters, and 1-5 the actual levels achievable by PCs, the dynamic magic of this system seems to correlate with Mage the Ascension. Is it appropriate that I use sphere equivalencies for what is, or is not, possible for my players? I.E.

The Life Sphere, (A.K.A. The Body Realm) would allow Heal Self at level 2, Heal Other at level 3, Minor partial shifts or self enhancements at Level 3, but dramatic shifts at level 4.

Yes, the Realm system actually came from GURPS Mage which was a Third Edition licence.

Perfect! I'm incredibly familiar with WoD and Mage and incorporating this into my GURPS Supers game has been interesting, so using that as a frame it makes it easier.

Additional question: There seems to be a lack of many suggested modifiers, in MtA I would know how to adjust diff by fast cast, foci, etc. All this I assume still applies? The more they prepare and spend time on their effect the better they work, the more they improvise and leave out essential elements or rush the more difficult?

Look at Phantasm he also uses the Realm system for his Marvel Reboot project.
The modifiers section is mostly referrals to a table near the end of the book.
Thaumatology spreads itself a bit thin covering such a wide variety.

Practices (p.192) is Realm Magic's counterpart to Foci, just as Reactive Reality (p.193) corresponds to Paradox.
