What to buy?
I just read the sad news about the future of the game.
I never heard of this during the kickstarter because I would have backed it. That said I noticed that SJG said we only have 1Q to buy it. I would like to buy as much as I can before the vault closes...that said what do I buy? That is what is a good blend of 'must-have' vs. 'nice to have.' Sadly I do not have an unlimited budget or I'd buy like a dozen sets :) My current job (after being unemployed for a year and a half) is 1/2 of my previous salary plus I have the usual life stuff (dad in and out of hospital, etc...) Opinions and help welcome! Cheers!

Re: What to buy?
There are two options for the base set, PDF or big shiney box. It's your choice there, balancing budget and individual taste. I saw the DFRPG companion on the print on demand list so no rush there. If PDFs are your thing I don't see them going away anytime soon.

Re: What to buy?
There is also the GM Screen in print. It's pretty nice and the inserts are very handy. One is a Quick Character Gen summary and one is a collection of Pre-Generated Characters. Also available in PDF if all you want is the books.

Re: What to buy?
Buy the box set and the GM shield. You’ll be all set. I’m hoping they open up Dungeon Fantasy for third party products with a limited OGL.

Re: What to buy?
There's not really that much to buy. Get the box set, certainly, and I'd recommend the GM screen. Both are good physical products, so you should get those now. The companion volumes are available either a separate PDFs or a single POD volume. Those aren't going away in either form, so far as I can tell, so you can wait on those.

Re: What to buy?
Done...as soon as my next paycheck hits I'll pick em up.
It looks like a real quality product as always and I like doing what little I can to support SJG.
