[MA] Unpenalized Hand Catches for Wrestling
I have a strongman with considerable points invested in Wrestling, getting Judo up to match is just unfeasable. There's a -3 to parry weapons using the Wrestling technique. What is the most cost effective method in Martial Arts to buy that off?
The catching part of Hand Catch assigns a basic -3 to weapons, why? There's already a penalty for the size of the weapon, and the minimum penalty is still worse than catching a bare hand. Hand Clap Parry, which requires two hands, is simply Parry-5 and comes with no penalties (aside from being the only defense you can perform with your hands that turn).

Taking it from (Wrestling Parry -3) to (Wrestling Parry) costs [4]. |
