I would concur with those above who stated their preference for Designer's Notes that explain the writing process. I am usually not all that interested in extra rules (that isn't my problem with the system, let us say), but I always love learning how a book came to be. Martial Arts was particularly entertaining, for the discussion of the playtest and how the author went about the research process.

Breakdowns of new traits are important to me, such as the Techniques from MA.

There are a couple of the I'd like to see. Mostly put me in the extra material group, with material cut purely for lack of space as the first priority.Then material cut because it hadn't been playtested or some problem was found in playtest. But I also like the "why this was done this way". If there is something I don't quite understand, knowing the intent can let me figuire out the correct interpretation.
