Absolutely! PDF or POD; I don't care. Why have you taken so long to ask? | 29 | 39.19%
Yes, but I want PDF format (at a lower price point than print). | 12 | 16.22%

Ogre Anthology
As most of you know, I periodically float ideas out there for some "market research" without any specific end-point in mind. Most of them end up being simply informative to me, and nothing more, whereas a few may grow into new project ideas. With this complete disclaimer in mind that I'm making no promises other than sharing the info, I have a question:
Would an anthology of Ogre short stories be of interest to you? These would be significantly longer than the stories in Ogrezine, but still far shorter than a true novel. So what do you think? D.

Re: Ogre Anthology
Not really interested in it, if it was a finished product I might buy one if the price was right.

Re: Ogre Anthology
Yes. A more expansive exploration of the lore would make me giddy.
I don't get giddy often. |

Re: Ogre Anthology
I'll buy either PDF or POD on sight, but I would /really/ want POD.

Re: Ogre Anthology
In principle, yes, I would want such a thing. (And I'd want it on good old-fashioned dead trees, not some godforsaken ethereal form that requires electricity to read.)
However, I'd be mightily disappointed if it required familiarity with the game to follow it. Mind you, I *have* that familiarity — but well-written fiction should be able to stand on its own and appeal to any audience (including newcomers), not just cater to its perceived Automatic Audience. I could cite a large number of books based on games / game worlds that fail to stand on their own. But I won't, because I'm not looking for an argument. |

I thought you said you were looking for an argument. (That'll be 25p. :) )
