Car Wars Sixth Edition Update

We have posted an update on the new edition of Car Wars. Many of you who follow the Daily Illuminator and the forums likely know most of this already.

The Car Wars Anthology is a great introduction to the world of 2117 Car Wars. We've positioned that Kickstarter first so that everyone gets a better peek at the game world before the full game Kickstarter project launches.

2117? 100 years out, so not an alternate universe but the (messed up) future of our own?

I wanted to stop by and say that the anthology is a great idea and I cannot wait to see the kickstarter.

I am a dinosaur. I played Second edition Car Wars Deluxe Edition including the Boat Wars edition (around 1988??)

In the early 90s while I was in college the local comic book shop had Car Warriors. It was only 4 issues, wish there was more. Those comics where followed by The Square Deal, Double Jeopardy and Back from Hell Novels. I still own them all and they sit in an archival box. They were an excellent intro to Car Wars Universe.

I believe the anthology will introduce new gamers to Car Wars.

I cannot wait to for 6th Edition. A more stream lined game would be great to teach my kids and for me given my limited time to play games.

I actually found out about this on a video game forum where someone mentioned a possible new video game coming as well and someone mentioned the new board game as well.

I will be bookmarking the forum for future news.

Sounds great, cannot wait to play again.
