Default Treasure & Monster Enhancers

Don't believe I've seen this in the forum, so...

Say my fellow Munchkins have piled on monster enhancers to my combat. If the creature's worth 3 treasures, and has a +10 enhancer (therefore extra 2 treasures), and I charm/Magic Lamp the monster. Is it worth the original 3 treasures or 5?

My stand is it's worth 5, cos it's not like the enhancer is removed. It's effectively part of the creature.

Help. I've been shortchanged a couple of times already :)

You didn't make the original monster go away, you made the enhanced version go away, so you should get all the treasure. Except in the rare case where the card says that the enhancers go back to the person who played them, but I don't think any of those situations let you take the treasure also.

You get all the treasures you would have gotten for killing the monster: in this case, five.

(Why do I get the feeling that your opponents would have argued that if you had Babied the monster, you wouldn't get the original three Treasures, just two?)

Yeah, my 9 and 11 year old daughters certainly seem to think so.
