I used my overview as a starting point and wrote a rather detailed overview of Pyramid Magazine and this issue for RPG.NET. It should show up in a day or three. I'll try and do the same for other issues in the future.

Well, not to be egocentric, but it would make sense to at least touch on my Appendix Z if you're trying to discuss the issue as a whole.

I mention it in the more complete RPG.NET review.

I will be following the same overall style in future reviews for RPG.NET, including the background information on Pyramid magazine in general. Any feedback on what I should add, alter, or remove would be appreciated. Note that I assume almost no knowledge of GURPS or Pyramid offerings for the larger RPG.NET audience and feedback on what could be clarified or footnoted is also useful to know.

I greatly appreciate your efforts!

(And -- for purely selfish reasons -- the line "The quality of articles in Pyramid is uniformly quite high, due to the demanding editorial oversight you would expect from Steve Jackson Games..." made my day.) :-)

Heh. I'm not sure whether classing my article as "old school" is an accusation or a compliment. ;)

I suppose ... both? I liked it, but I've become rather ossified in a sense by always trying to write things like they are a sourcebook and thus consistency with existing material is of a very high priority. Pyramid doesn't necessarily have that restriction I know, but I still write like it does :)

It should be compatible with everything in Ultra-Tech. Where is the consistency problem?

It's great to see a review of Pyramid, and I think I speak for everyone involved in the process when I say, "Thank you for the awesome feedback and the promotion over on RPG.net!" But if you're seriously asking for feedback, my only wish would be that I'd like to see you review the entire issue, not just the articles that stood out for you. Covering 4/6 of the articles is still great, but in an ideal world, I'd love to see your opinions on all six, plus at least a sentence on your thoughts about the Odds and Ends and Murphy's Rules.
