Re: Bones are for suckers
So if Zombies go for Brains, do Octopi go for Bones?

Re: Bones are for suckers
Let's put together a horror flick themed scenario for Halloween.
First, assuming the Halfling attribute fix and Drain to Staff we get: Octavia the squishy wizard (Only 46,200 XP over a starting octopus.) ST 20, DX 15, IQ 19, MA 8, Mana 38. Two "handed" club staff(1d+5/1d+2), leathery skin(2) Octopus tongue, Literacy, Sorcerers' tongue Calling(usually humans), Control Person, Diamond Flesh, Drain Strength, Fresh Water, Giant Rope, 7-Hex Illusion, Long-Distance Teleport, Magic Rainstorm, Megahex Freeze, Megahex Sleep, Remove Thrown Spell, Reverse Missiles, Scrying, Spell Shield, Spellsniffer, Staff I through V, Telepathy, Unnoticeability, Wizard’s Wrath, Zombie Octavia has setup camp near a small seaside village, calling up villagers to drain and interrogate as to the location of local wizards with books for her to read and shiny toys to play with. She keeps a half-dozen or so MREs around to drain every day and be turned into zombies when they're no fun anymore. The PCs are summoned to investigate these strange disappearances when one night one of them starts wandering away from camp, drawn by a strange feeling they need to go someplace.
