Oh, I agree, delaying the release wouldn't have made sense, I just wish the downtime hadn't started until tomorrow. I'm sure I don't know all the factors on why this time was picked (and I'm sure it was decided quite a while ago) so I can't second guess the decision, but it was frustrating to see a cool new supplement and finally get a chance to buy it (after work, picking the kids up, making them dinner and doing the dishes) only to see that e23 was down.

But, waiting until Monday isn't a big deal. Best of luck with the implementation, I know that sometimes it can be tricky.

As an aside, one of the reasons that as a customer it's hard to get mad at SJG is that you guys are very transparent with your decisions and willing to discuss them. Thanks for that, it's appreciated.

And I helped! I was up in the wee hours of the night making sure the product page was ready...

The main reason Thursday was picked was that most of the office is on a four-day week, so this gives the IT team three basically uninterrupted days to get the migration accomplished before we're all back on Monday.

How is everyone else dealing with the non-existence of e23? I think I may have the DTs...

I have a couple of GURPS books that I'm not done reading yet, and 1-2 Pyramids that I've only read a few articles.

I'm watching the Harry Potter movies. I'm up to the fourth movie, which I never got fully through before.

Post-Apocalyptic settings are apparently a favorite of The Big Guy (i.e., Steve Jackson, himself). Last I heard, he had an idea of something post-apocalyptic, and After the Fall would have competed/overlapped with it.

So these (again, last I heard, and if I recall correctly) are on indefinite hold.
Survivors(said item in question) has been unlucky since it's inception. The original work was screwed up by the infamous Secret Service incident. I'd actually like for it to be done as well, with the "End" books as a setting. GURPS is my favorite system! and I have several ideas going on at once. But it never hurts to speculate, wish, dream. A Survivors book could come in handy in a variety of genres, from IW boy or girl scout outings to zombie outbreaks.

There hasn't been a new In Nomine release for so long, I'm really not missing e23 at the moment.
