Re: [OOC] The Detroit Blues
What skillset does Detective Knight have? Will it make more sense for Lieutenant Bishop to be the face to his genius or the brawn to his brain? I can picture the character either way, by either focusing on good appearance, and influence skills, or Fit with Judo and Pistol. Either way he will be naive and friendly.
EDIT: Seeing your char sheet, I am thinking that the "face" option will fit better, since you have decent combat skills already.

Re: [OOC] The Detroit Blues
Sounds like you're on top of it. I do like the idea of playing the bad cop.
If you have any recommendations for tweaks I can make for us to fit better. What was the standard firearm for 1985 Detroit cops?

Re: [OOC] The Detroit Blues
Well, by the 90s it would be the Glock 17, but I am not sure if it had become widespread yet in 1985.
As far as tweaks go, all I can think of is that DX 12 seems like overkill. You might do better to reduce it by one or even two levels and put the points into skills. If you have Brawling and Forced Entry at higher relative levels you will get damage bonuses for kicking in those doors. You are missing Shadowing, Search, and Observation, all of which are likely to be very useful. Finally, a detective can never have too much Criminology, Law, and/or Streetwise.

Tweaked Knight to be a better "bad" cop.

Re: [OOC] The Detroit Blues
What would appropriate stats be for a glock 17?

Re: [OOC] The Detroit Blues
What would be a good gun for Knight to keep covertly strapped to his ankle as a backup?

Re: [OOC] The Detroit Blues
Are Law (Police) and Law (Criminal) the same or different here?
