Friendship Potion
Hi,
We played a lot of Munchkin in the past week and encountered a lot of cases where we could not agree on what is legal. After consulting FAQ and searching online for answers, these questions persist: 3) Friendship potion Player A is in combat with a monster (or two). He uses Friendship potion and the combat should have ended, but Player B uses Wandering monster card to add another monster to the fight. Can Player B do so? I argued he can, in same way as players can add modifiers if a player is winning a combat. Some argued it can not, as the combat is over. I apologise for bombarding you with questions, alas at least it shows we gave the game a good run! Thank you for your patience, time and help in advance and I wish you all best in 2018! Re: Friendship Potion
Hi, Mathyoo. I'm splitting your LONG post into several shorter ones, with more detailed subject lines, to make it easier for other people to find the answers to your questions.
The intent of the Friendship Potion is to end the combat, and I'm going to rule that the reference to Looting The Room makes that explicit enough to lock it down. So no, you cannot add more monsters to a fight in which Friendship Potion has been played. (It is possible we have ruled this differently in the past. I am overriding those rulings. I think the Loot The Room clause is clear that combat has ended.)

Re: Friendship Potion
I think that ruling is in line with my most recent thoughts on the card, which may or may not have been written around here somewhere.
