Re: INWO: a remark, a rant, a request
Ok, where do I go to sign the petition to get INWO reprints back in flow or, even better, work on a new batch?
..and obviously, if a new bunch of cards are created they need to be compatible with the originals - The originals are perfect - Just need some new "modern" cards to express recent history and near futures.. (new plots, personalities, orgs, NWOs, etc). This is such a ripe time to kick out some new cards it isn't even funny.. |

I agree with the statement above.
1. Fresh it up with current politics and personalities 2. Make it still playable with the 90s era cards 3. profit |

Re: INWO: a remark, a rant, a request
INWO is discussed every time we talk about possibly bringing older games back into print. If the time and cost are right, it will happen. If they aren't, no amount of people signing a petition will change that, because vocal online demand has not correlated well with sales on previous reprinted games. (The same is true, only more so, for ludicrously high auction prices. The only thing that's needed for an auction to go through the roof is two people who really want the item and have money to burn.)

Re: INWO: a remark, a rant, a request
How many sales do you need to do a reprint of the INWO? Is there any way to do the kickstarter thing and get the presales you need to put some more factory sets out there?
I love the deluxe edition but am struggling to get a working set of INWO cards. |

Re: INWO: a remark, a rant, a request
Kickstarter is not on the table for INWO right now. We're still dealing with the behemoth of the Ogre Kickstarter, and Car Wars is next up (we committed to that as part of the Ogre KS). We aren't doing anything else with Kickstarter until Car Wars is done.

Re: INWO: a remark, a rant, a request
By "kickstarter type" I was thinking more of paying SJG upfront for a factory set and you print it when you have the numbers. How many do you need for a print run ( and some profit!). With a good price I hope you could get the interest and revive this great game a bit.
Am I over optimistic? Cheers Sox |
