Will the DF and Horror adventures have pregens or will they only be providing advice on character creation?

I can't speak for the DF adventure, but for Beyond the Pale, it's assumed you have heroic level PCs (150 to 200 points). There are no pregens. We barely got the adventure shoved in the alloted word count. Adding pregens would have been...difficult.

Yeah, there's no way that a 10-page adventure will ever have pregens.

There's not remotely room for pregens. The DF adventure assumes the use of characters built on standard DF templates with some advice for scaling, but doesn't get into in-depth advice of "you'll need three and a half bards and an innkeeper, but no more than one martial artist" variety.

$43,732 and 1,958 backers as of this moment. The question comes down to:

* Will we hit $45,000 before we hit 2,000 backers?

It was honestly not even a thought we had when writing/scheming/planning. That said, I might put some up on my blog. Could be a fun exercise. Or maybe crowdsource them from folks and pick the best ones.

that's a good one.

it's only 42 backers to achieve 2k. if all go with the $3 then it is $126.
with $30 pledge you get $1260, almost the $1268 needed.
with bigger pledge it is possible. $49 need 26 backers and $99 only 13.

lets see how it turns out.

I guess I jumped the gun on saying if the adventures included pregens. The DF adventure is probably easier to just plop a PC down in and play because the previous DF books gives us world assumptions: magic, TL 3-ish gear, gonna need combat focused PCs.

But the Horror genre probably needs some more than just “150-200 points, go!”. Does the adventure assume magic/psi? Monster fighting ability? Is there Civilization nearby and can “Authorities” be called upon or is that a No Go option ? Should PCs have guns/cars/computers? Are Supernatural traits smiled upon or frowned at?

I guess I’m more asking the authors if they had included some general advice on what players should swing points for.

Seeing some blog-based pregens would be excellent!
