Munchkin Dice Bag shape?
I can't go back and rewatch the chat to check, but from what I remember seeing, it LOOKED like the dice bags were a simple triangular prism shape, and not the actual pyramid that I thought I saw in a teaser image.
I HOPE that's not the case. That would be....way less cool. Did I just not get a good look in the chat? I figure if you can make a dice bag shaped like Chthulhu, a simple geometric shape like a pyramid shouldn't be too much trouble. :-) |

Re: Munchkin Dice Bag shape?
They're triangular. We explored a pyramid shape, but it was too pricey.

Re: Munchkin Dice Bag shape?
Well boo. I know it sounds silly, but that really kills my enthusiasm for it.
I'm still at a loss as to how a pyramid could be too pricey, when a Chthuhlu-shaped one isn't, but that's why I'm not in a position to make those kinds of decisions, I suppose. |

Re: Munchkin Dice Bag shape?
well mister ed you start talking about instead of two pieces of material you now need 4 pieces... double the stiching... i can see how that would lead to a higher price...

Re: Munchkin Dice Bag shape?
We're not charging as much for the Munchkin Dice Bag, for one thing . . .

But it's a moot point. I don't have the relevant info to make an informed decision about how much more one would cost. I trust that SJG made the choice that was best for them. I, personally, would have been willing to pay more for a Dice Bag that looked cool, whereas the current design is, IMHO, rather blah, and I likely won't be picking it up. But I'm just one guy. Much as it would make me happy in the SHORT term, I'm relatively certain that, in the LONG term, if they made decisions based on just what I want, things would go south rather quickly. ;-) |

Re: Munchkin Dice Bag shape?
No, it's a triangular prism, as Ed said above.
