Question about contradictory cards
We have a friend who has the spell Necrophobia on him, which states he must (even italicized on game cards) run away from any Undead monsters EVEN IF he can defeat them.
He has 20 combat power. He kicks open a door, faced with a Tongue Demon (level 12) he can easily kill. My friend uses Wandering Monster to use The Shadow Nose (level 11, total of 23 at this point). I think use a Freezing Explosive Potion on the Tongue Demon (for a total of 26 combat power on the monsters). He then attempts to use Annihilation on The Shadow Nose to remove it from the game, but our argument is that since he has to run away from The Shadow Nose EVEN IF he can defeat it, then he has to run away. These cards are obviously a bit contradictory to each other, can someone give an answer? Here's all the cards for reference. Re: Question about contradictory cards
As soon as the Shadow Nose entered the fight, the Necrophobic player had to Run Away immediately. If he had used Annihilation AT THAT MOMENT to cancel the Shadow Nose play, it would have worked and he could have continued fighting, but since the opponents had time to play another card, it's too late and he has to run.
