The choice really was never "Does it go in Martial Arts or High-Tech?" It would never make it into Martial Arts, any more than the M1911A1 would make it in the MA weapons chapter. It was a question of "Does it go in High-Tech or not at all?" At least in High-Tech, it is handled by knowledgeable authors and demonstrates usage of the primary weapons of the tech levels covered. It wouldn't be unreasonable for Low-Tech to throw in a style or two if they are appropriate to LT but weren't in MA. I'd rather see more gadgets, but expanded horsemanship techniques and such would fit better in LT than MA.
