FX's Archer

Any fans of the show Archer lurking? I'm thinking of using Archer as the base for a character in a Powers Infinity Patrol game.

To that end, how would you stat the original Archer?

I think Rapier Wit should be in there... possibly with Always On -20% -- he does as much harm to his side with it as he does to the enemy.

Lecherousness would also be very appropriate.

Since Clueless gives you a bunch of quirks that annoy people, compulsions are not necessary

Low Empathy

I'd give him Danger Sense and Gunslinger (since he's a whiz with guns). HP should be somewhere around 20, and he should have alcohol and poison tolerance.

I'd also make his IQ 12, since eh gets a -3 from being drunk all the time. Or reduce his Alcoholism to Compulsive Carousing.

Impulsive works too

I don't think he has Rapier Wit - he fails with comebacks often - in fact, most of his best jokes are lame puns and slapstick - which clueless covers.

He also has Eidetic Memory for some things, and he can count bullets fired from weapons and no how many have been fired - though that maybe just a per based application of the Guns! skill.


EDIT^2: He speaks (but does not read) Russian at Accented, and Speaks and Reads Spanish at Broken.

Edit^3: Unkillable 1 or at least Hard to Kill + 6 ... guy "dies" all the time.

Definitely high DX - he's very good at all the action hero stuff with few peers. IQ is tricky -Archer is seemingly incompetent but somehow keeps blundering to victory and has a high reputation. Intuition, possibly uncontrolled. Definitely Extraordinary Luck. He's not exactly stupid - he just has a compulsive tendency to reject other people's reality and assert his own.

Right. Oblivious, Clueless and Selfish make a classic narcissist. But also, he's drunk ALL the time. That's -3 to rolls.

I'd give him Guns! since he can shoot just about anything he picks up with extreme accuracy. Maybe also Drive! given the number of vehicles he drives in the show, although maybe not Pilot! since he did crash that space shuttle. He could also just have been very drunk in that incident though...
