It's a null temptation as a regular thing, but... sometimes... you just need Essence. Or even Need it. And then you Need to get the dissonance removed, true, but you can work it off in someone's Tether, right? Right? Surely there's a Creation Tether around where you can hang out for a week and they won't ask questions. Or a Wind Tether. Just avoid Seraphim and Judges...

Or you're a Malakite, and you're comfortable with the idea of becoming a Discord-puddle. I mean, surely once your Archangel comes around and sees your side of things, and realizes that you were Right All Along (TM), they'll totally strip all that off with no trouble, right?
