Default Cursed Thingy

In FAQ it's clearly said, that it's victim choice, which Item curse applies to, if curse could apply to more than one Item. But it's not so obvious for me, what about Curse! Cursed Thingy? If i play this curse at another player (and he can't evade it,sure) who choose, which Item is cursed?

Victim's choice, so long as the Item meets the requirements: Basically, not a one-shot Item.

Playing a card (pretty much any card) against another player is exactly the same as if they had drawn it face-up while kicking down the door. The only time this isn't true is when the card itself says otherwise.

(Hope it's okay to resurrect this thread. It's a follow-up question....)

Can Cursed Thingy be applied to only in-use items, or is it acceptable to apply it to a carried item? (In which case it doesn't block any slots....)

Thanks.

Yes, you can choose an unused Item to be cursed, provided it would give a combat bonus or provide a power if it were in use (so no one-shots). Previous ruling is here.

It says you can't unequip the item and it takes up a useful spot. How does that work if you put it on an unused item?

Simple. You can't unequip the Item. It's already unequipped, and if you were silly enough to equip it, then you would not be able to unequip it, but the card never says that you must equip the Item you choose to curse or that the card you choose must take a useful Item slot.
