Default Re: Fan Dungeon for GURPS DF now Up

A suggestion: This scenario will be used by starting campaigns. How about we generate a few sample characters for inclusion so newbies can get a PC to choose before having to undergo character generation.

Since the template system narrows the choices quite a bit, I can't see this being needed. Unless you can come up with names that rival "Gleep Wurp the Eyebiter."

I think I made a case for it's inclusion. Newbies with 250 pts to spend before they can play or newbies with characters ready for play. One step at a time.

What I think would be really useful is a DF character archive for new players to use regardless of whether they are playing Castle Everglory or not.

Something like that should be its own netbook because its probably useful to a lot more groups than the dungeon is.

A collection of ready-to-go characters, like the one Captain-Captain posted, could be a godsend for players just getting into the system or genre or just looking to get hacking asap.

Though I don't play DF, I have read the books. I agree that a typical, generic version of each template from DF 1, Barbarian to Wizard, would make a great addition to this dungeon PDF.
