Star Munchkin: Forged ID in Stasis Field
2 questions and a half :)
1. is it legal to use Forged ID in Stasis Field? 1.5 is it legal to use Forged ID in front of The Great Wall (Munchkin Fu)? and if yes 2. when 2 players try to run away from a monster and Stasis Field/Great Wall is used - does Forged ID saves 1 player or both? assuming there's only 1 monster in buttle. thanks in advance Last edited by COTOHA; 03-20-2009 at 10:10 AM. I would allow it. It would counter Stasis Field. As for great wall also. However, I would suggest waiting for MunchkinMan for a official answer.

And, yes, I was having a life this weekend. The kind of life where one moves furniture and rips up carpets in preparation for workmen to redo some hardwood floors. Suffice it to say, I don't want that kind of life on a regular basis, but it certainly was good exercise. As it stands: This is a difficult question to answer, but I would have to agree that I'd allow it. I mean, the wording on the Forged ID says it can be played after a failed die roll, which could be used to argue that a Stasis Field, which negates the need for or overrides a die roll, does not count as a failed die roll. However, the intent of Forged ID is to get you out of a bad situation when your back is up against the wall. So, in the spirit of designed intent, it's allowed. |
