Default Steeds and Thieves

Quick question: If a curse (I forget what it's called exactly, Shrinking Powder maybe?) is played on a steed to make it a small item, is it possible to steal the steed using the thief's class power?

Thanks again.

Pretty new myself to the game, but I would say yes. You can steal small items and the steed would be considered a small item after the "shrinking powder".

Steeds that are made Small somehow, such as via Shrinking Powder, can be used as a target of Theft.

I originally thought otherwise as the Thief card says to steal a Small Item that is carried by another player and Steeds technically aren't carried by the player as they carry themselves, but the intent has been made clear in the thread linked in the ruling above.
