My Painted Ogres
Hi everyone,
Now that we have had some warmer weather up here in Canada I have been able to spray varnish my minis and photograph them, so here is what I have painted so far. I am a WWI Historian among my other hobbies so I have done a WWI inspired theme, so my Ogres are German and my Paneuro units are British. Once the Combine units are available, I plan to do them in a more traditional Combine scheme and the WWI units will all be on the same side as a PE force. I used a lot of spare decals from other kits. Here is "Herkules",the first Ogre I painted. It uses a fairly common WWI camo patern. https://www.flickr.com/photos/162729...57696653391421 Next is "Old Fritz" the Red Ogre: https://www.flickr.com/photos/162729...57692540207950 My Mk III is "Cyklop" https://www.flickr.com/photos/162729...57696653572951 Here are some of my Pan European forces: https://www.flickr.com/photos/162729...57696653666771 https://www.flickr.com/photos/162729...57697826804694 https://www.flickr.com/photos/162729...57692540906160 Last edited by redcoat; 06-24-2018 at 11:33 AM. |

Except for "Old Fritz", these all require the user to be logged in to see them. You probably need to adjust the permissions/privacy settings on them.

Re: My Painted Ogres
Only the "Fritz" link is working (for me). That said, he's impressive!

Link to Cyklop points to Herkules.
Those all look amazing, btw. |

Re: My Painted Ogres
Nice tidy work, love the linkage to WWI theme too. I had thoughts on taking a MkV and rendering a Gotha bomber paint-scheme on it - the Vierfarbiger lozenge pattern. And of course, a 'Dazzleship' theme at some point too.
All links worked fine for me too. Many thanks for sharing your work.
