Deus Ex Machinegun
Greetings gentle folks. I've attempted to educate myself with the forums, faq, and rules regarding Munchkin with excellent success. However the wording and effects of Deus Ex Machinegun have me a little confused.
In a post from MunchkinMan he states "Deus Ex Machinegun really brings a huge end to combat..." In response to the previous poster asking if a monster can be wandered in after Deus Ex Machinegun. My question is: Can it be used in response to a wizard charm or a Polymorph potion to end combat and prevent the collection of treasure despite no monsters being left in play? This would be similar to a using a wandering monster to extend combat and prevent an immediate treasure acquisition. I won't lie, I love the idea of the gods showing up after the heavy lifting is done to take all the credit. Thanks for any help and for all the fun. Re: Deus Ex Machinegun
No, you can't use it like that. There would have to be Monsters in the combat for that card to be played.
