Mana Hoard, Places of Power, etc
Ok, just read Dragons last night.
Mana Hoard looks interesting and not just for Dragons but for Kai or Spirit Guardians. So looking for some consistency, how to build it. Thaumatolgy suggests value a wealth/250 for 1 energy pt. Mana Hoard is wealth per 1 energy point, recovers as a powerstone. A ER would easily get -80% for location, value and slow recharge. Signature points could buy a powerstone but thats not a linear option so hard to price. Any ideas? |

Can you describe more specifically what this is and what it does? I'm not sure I know what "Dragons" you're talking about...

Re: Mana Hoard, Places of Power, etc
The Mana Hoarder advantage (Dragons, p. 89) allows you to use your hoard as a powerstone, with its energy capacity equal to the hoard's value divided by the campaign's average starting wealth. The 15-point advantage gives you an improvable powerstone (and you can use it even when you're up to 15 feet away from it). And because it's a linear relationship between energy and value, at some point (depending on the TL), you'll get more energy/$ than a regular powerstone.
Are you asking for alternative ways to build the same thing? Because that's a build right there. |

I don't think even Mr. Phelps would accept THAT Mission.
