Default Mana Hoard, Places of Power, etc

Ok, just read Dragons last night.
Mana Hoard looks interesting and not just for Dragons but for Kai or Spirit Guardians. So looking for some consistency, how to build it.
Thaumatolgy suggests value a wealth/250 for 1 energy pt.
Mana Hoard is wealth per 1 energy point, recovers as a powerstone.
A ER would easily get -80% for location, value and slow recharge.

Signature points could buy a powerstone but thats not a linear option so hard to price.

Any ideas?

Can you describe more specifically what this is and what it does? I'm not sure I know what "Dragons" you're talking about...

"Dragons" is presumably GURPS: Dragons, recently released on e23.

Yep, I refered to GURPS Dragons but did not want to go into the details too much for copyright reasons.

The Mana Hoarder advantage (Dragons, p. 89) allows you to use your hoard as a powerstone, with its energy capacity equal to the hoard's value divided by the campaign's average starting wealth. The 15-point advantage gives you an improvable powerstone (and you can use it even when you're up to 15 feet away from it). And because it's a linear relationship between energy and value, at some point (depending on the TL), you'll get more energy/$ than a regular powerstone.

Are you asking for alternative ways to build the same thing? Because that's a build right there.

I'm looking for a consistent price and value structure.

My current worldbuilding project. You can find the Adventure Logs of the campaign here. I try to write them up as narrative prose, with illustrations. As such, they are "embellished" accounts of the play sessions.

Link of the moment: Bestiary of Plants. In a world of mana, plants evolved to use it as an energy source.

It is also the new home of the Alaconius Lectures, a series of essays about the various Colleges of Spells.

But the good thing about loads of gold is that theives can't just take it all in five minutes.

Now I have the image of an Action! Crew planning a major art heist from a private collection, only to discover (when it's too late of course), that the owner is .. a Dragon!

A modern take on the Dungeon Fantasy tradition of 'Kill the Monster, Steal his Treasure'?

I don't think even Mr. Phelps would accept THAT Mission.
