Doesn’t bother me any. I’ll find homes for all of them in my various Ogre sets. |

Re: Ogre Miniatures Series 1 delivery thread
All my regular sets had PE dice, most of the rest I got in the bags were NAC.

Re: Ogre Miniatures Series 1 delivery thread
I just realized that I have an extra set of Paneuro HVY Tanks with my regular set. I don't even know if it was packaged inside my standard set, or separately. But that gives me 16 tanks instead of 8. Was this intended? Did everyone get this? Or is it one of those surprises SJ Games is noted for, instead of some Munchkin loot or other promo items? I didn't open them in case I ought to return them to SJ Games.
Speaking of awesome goodies, will SJ Games offer mystery grab boxes for Black Friday this year? |

Re: Ogre Miniatures Series 1 delivery thread
I just received my basic set this evening (near Austin, TX).
Everything appears in order. It's amazing how small in size the figures are compared to seeing the close-ups online (especially the infantry). This does make for a good scale, but I'm even more impressed by Ben Williams paint job pictures. He must have amazing patience. The accompanying assembly pictures were great, but it would have been nice to have a little bit of introductory text. For example, it appears that most parts need to be glued, but the turrets for the heavy tanks and the howitzers can just be snugly inserted and then even rotated. P.S. Thank you guys; the minis are cool with nice detail. Last edited by Tom H.; 11-15-2017 at 09:37 PM. |

Re: Ogre Miniatures Series 1 delivery thread
I've got five of my thirteen sets assembled ... they go quickly, and are a joy to assemble. Sorta wishing I got one or two more sets of the GitD ones now though ...

The tally is in!
17D6 in total, 11 Combine and 6 PanEuro. I haven't checked individual nubs of individual sprues yet, but from a broad overview it's all there.

Yeah, really didn't want to open everything, but I suppose it's a good idea to validate the condition of everything.

Re: Ogre Miniatures Series 1 delivery thread
That's why I went digging last night. I really don't want to misplace a sprue, but also don't want to end up in a situation where at some undetermined point in the future I discover a blob of misshapen plastic where a GEV is supposed to be or something.
Really hoping we can find some momentum again for Set 2, it seems like we might be stalling out...those grays are just too tempting. 5- to 10- way battles (depending on whether or not I double up on any given force), here I come...
