Warp Castling
The Eternal Victim has a power that causes her to switch places with people. How does one design Warp so that you switch places with objects or people on the other end?

Re: Warp Castling
The straightforward by-the-book approach would seem to be Warp (only to where someone else is) Linked to Afflict Warp -- the "teleport other" variant -- again with an Accessibility to "only where I am right now".
Presumably you'd also want some sort of Clairsentience power to remotely target your destination. |

Re: Warp Castling
Psionic Powers introduced the Castling Perk, but that's only useful between allies.
I think the better way to build this type of offensive Castling attack would be just with Exoteleport alone and a hard technique. See Psionic Powers p.69-70. I'd call it: Castling (offensive) Hard Default: Exoteleport-7; cannot exceed Exoteleport. You can Exoteleport two subjects at once in order to Castle them. Their combined weight cannot exceed your weight limit. They must all be within line of sight. |

Re: Warp Castling
Personally I wouldn't change the resistance from HT to Will, if you aren't a teleporter your Will is meaningless in regards to what happens to your body as someone else decides to teleport it. I do run that Teleportation Talent adds to the default HT resistance roll for Exoteleport, not sure if that's RAW, we could ask RPK. Inertia Control is a Perk which gives a +3 to resist being teleported against your will. |

If you're not comfortable with it, you can ask RPK for a more official take on it of course. Keep in mind that the Castling Perk is just 1 point. Quote:

Re: Warp Castling
Does she only swap with them to take there damage for them, and then swap back?
If so this might be a special effect of some other ability, like say- cosmic payload, with range, reflexive, and compartmentalized mind to work the using of the payload, all with the special effect 'seems to swap places with target'. Though you did ask specifically about how to make warp do it, so there may be other reasons to keep it in warp, if so ignore this idea. |
