Default GURPS Dungeon Fantastic - GURPS Content Posts

All the cool kids are linking to their GURPS content blog posts here, so I'm going to do that too. Let no one say I don't steal ideas from Doug and Chris!

There is a big, big backlog of these I haven't posted about. You can find them with this tag:

One of my DF Hirelings. This guy is like what happens if you aren't talented enough to be a Bargain Henchman.

By the way, you can comment on posts here, but I'd greatly prefer comments on the posts themselves on the blog. It just makes my life much easier, and much clearer which posts didn't suck at a glance at my comment tally.

Yesssssss. Join the Brotherhood of Bloggers Who Talk About Their Blogs Loudly. Let the posts flow through you. I'll send you the decoder ring later this week.

Also - I can't get "Cuban Pete" out of my head out after reading your post on Lucky Pete.

Edit: stupid auto-correct.

Not purely GURPS - just notes on how I do room notations for my megadungeon in DF.

You could use Word Styles with the Strikethrough format for old room data.
Create a Style with strikethrough (Old Room Data), and create a second style with Strikethrough and shrink the Font down to say 2 point, and may a very pale font (Virtually Hidden)

You can then select all text with the 'Old Room Data' style, and apply the 'Virtually Hidden' style to 'hide' the strikethrough text; or reverse to bring it back to visible.

[EDIT: I just noticed that Word supports a 'Hidden' property of the Font Format - so you could use a Hidden font style as the second style]

What advantages I'd suggest limiting if you want grittier, less "heroic" scale dungeon delving.

Another of my DF NPCs is up - a 125 point Cutpurse (From DF15) who didn't make it out of the first session she was in. She was unfortunately a victim of a combination of a polearm hit and a friendly fire blast radius.
