I'd order a blueprint-poster [or slightly bigger]-sized "Ogre Size Comparison Chart" in a heartbeat.

What? No, I'm not 12, why would you ever insinuate that? It's for my con table, not my bedroom, I swear! :P

I already have science fiction blueprints up in my apartment - the Ogre Mk. V, BattleTech's old and new BattleMasters, and the original Franz Joseph Enterprise collection. More Ogre posters would be fantastic.

OMG! I had those Franz Joseph ST blueprints!! They came in a vinyl packet and the date was (get this) 1975!!

Hee hee. I always enjoy identifying yet another one of us "old fogeys".

(Weren't those blueprints great?!?! Thanks for the memories!)

Gee, a similar packet of separate blueprints for each of the canonical Ogre marks would be HEAVEN! Drew: Add this to your "What do you want?" list!!

Do you have the Star Wars ones? There are quite a few of those!

I have the blueprints from Franz Joseph for the TOS Enterprise, the STTMP Enterprise, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, the original Battletech blueprint set, Space:1999, Lost in Space, and many others. I have collected these over many years.

I'm not that big into Star Wars, but might get a set of X-Wing 'prints.

Never got any Star Wars blueprints, but do have an original first printing of the Franz Joseph drawings & the Techical Manual that came out about the same time.

I think the new roll up map looks awesome, but it didn't go far enough for me.

I want 2 inch hexes, because they're the minimum size to comfortably play with multiple miniatures per hex. You can do it on the regular maps, but it requires some care.

Larger than 2 inch is better, but the reality is that most people won't have a big enough table. Doing the math.

2 x 2 = 44 by 44 mat.
3 x 3 = 66 by 66 mat (about the size of half a ping -pong table.
4 x 4 = 88 by 88 mat, which is larger than a 5 x 9 pin-pong table in one direction.

So, if SJG want to support the miniatures as a thing unto themselves then the playmat is good, but it's not bringing anything unique to the game in terms of encouraging more people to play miniatures.

I still have my set of those! I think my favorite part was the bowling alley down in the lower section of the ship near the shuttlecraft bay.
