Who has some flavor for Seraphs besides Monk wannabes?
Well ... one of the more unusual Seraphim in the area is known as Mabel Callender, who runs Mabel's Bakery. She gets a lot of children in her place, largely because she listens where a lot of grownups would just nod and leave. She'll spot any BS in a second, of course, but few kids really try that anymore -- and the advice she gives is always on target, even if it doesn't pull many punches.

She also hasn't had a shoplifting problem in the 15 years she's run the place. Somehow, you can't hide anything from Ms. Mabel ....

For their Role names, my Seraphim ONLY choose names that are as literally translated as possible from what they would go by in Heaven. A Seraph of the Sword named "He Who Hears and Obeys" will go by the name Simon Brant on Earth. Carmichael, meaning "follower of Michael," is a popular surname among Seraphim of War.

I like that. Of course, I tend to do that even with non-Seraphim. For example, an Elohite of Oannes that I made for a heretical campaign has the name Kaimana: Hawaiian for "Power of the Waters."

Belialites and Gabrielites probably look with horror at swimming pools and water parks...at least on a non intellectual visceral leve.

When a demon from another Prince is taken in by Lilith, most demons term it 'winning the lottery.' It boggles the mind that life could be that good.

Lilim and those actually on the inside, seeing the debt bondage and having been farmed out for truly nasty work, tend to use an edge of sarcasm when they use the term.

Perfect -- the equivalent of getting a credit card with a HUGE limit, and then finding out what the collection agency is like.

I was laughing at the thought of going to Trade's Tower and going to the Angelic Resources department. Of course, I would imagine Mammon has Demonic Resources...

Contrary to popular belief, Seraphim have got a sense of humour, and even make jokes. They range from subtle to surreal, and typically consists of answering questions with information that is true and responds to what was asked, but is not the answer expected. e.g.
Shariel, Seraph of Flowers, is turning her compost pile.
Friend: "How are you doing?"
"With a pitchfork." she replies.

Other Seraphim are known for their dry and often cutting observational humour.

It's kind of hard to describe, but there's one scene I did with a Seraph of War commanding a small task force. They walked in all bluster and he said "We're going to find this Gavin person,"he pauses then smirks slightly at Corat "and then Ryuki."

The party knows that whatever he has in mind for Gavin is not going to be pretty, and quite possibly is going to be fatal. The Seraph has let them assume that they'll be equally rough on Ryuki, with whom some of the characters are sympathetic. He didn't lie--he just juxtaposed the names and let the PCs' imaginations do the rest.

They spotted Ryuki, said "Okay, we found him," and did no more than that. Meanwhile Ryuki, who'd been tipped off that they were coming, was sitting up all night wetting himself with fear.

War humor...

It strikes me that a Triad with a Cherub, a Seraph and a Malakite is a much different instrument than one with a Mercurian, an Elohite and a Seraph.
