Re: Buying Eberron
Curse of Strahd is on my wishlist. Are the series of adventures DM's Guild or RPG Now?

DMGuild is a particular interface of DriveThru, as is RPGNow, DriveThruRPG, Wargame Vault, Drive Through Comics... ;) Last edited by Andrew Hackard; 05-11-2019 at 11:14 AM. Reason: removed fnord tags because it's better to be helpful than "cute" |

Re: Buying Eberron
By the way, just over a week ago, Athas.org had a talk about defiling. I haven't listened to all of it (the wifi I use cr*pped out...), but here is the link:

Re: Buying Eberron
Not sure they'd be willing to sell Eberron, given that the unearthed arcana articles are pointing to a release of Eberron hardcover soon.

Re: Buying Eberron
They'll sell. Although I think they want the option to prepare a hardcover for Eberron first.

TBH, while I would love to see someone actually do something with these IPs, I'm more than a bit skeptical of any willingness on the part of WotC (or Hasbro) to part with the rights to these settings. They might sell a license to use them, but selling them outright seems pretty unlikely.

Re: Buying Eberron
I’ve reached out to contacts at Wizards to see whether I can verify this information. (If they actually ARE in negotiations of this sort, I don’t expect them to tell me, but then I wouldn’t expect anyone involved to discuss it, either.)
Until that time, I’m locking the thread. I’ll reopen it if and when the information in here can be confirmed, either through private channels or (preferably) via a public announcement.
