Is there any blogs or anything that list local groups with weekly or monthly games? I'm looking for some players interested in getting together.

There is a section in this forum here to look for groups.

SJGames also has this gamer/store finder you can add yourself and/or to look for other players.

Thanks for the response...I posted there, but that appears to be for a different game called the Gnomes of Zurich.

The Gnomes of Zurich are not a game, it's the area of the forum related to outside subjects like the game industry, where to find stores, make announcements, trades... The appropriate part for you to post that you are looking for gamers.

"Gnomes of Zurich" is a derogatory term for Swiss Bankers, known (like traditional gnomes) for their secretive practices. SJG uses that term in its game about global conspiracies, Illuminati, as one of the Illuminati in that game. This is why SJG uses it as the name for that particular section of the forum: It deals, in part, with the business and marketing (which includes the people who buy and play the games) ends of the gaming industry.

Other section, The Network and All Hail Discordia!, also refer to Illuminati in Illuminati, which, along with Ogre and Car Wars, was one of SJG's earliest games.

Hello bcmcknight77

I am, in fact, setting up a Munchkin League that will be occurring:

In Abington, MA, at Batlegrounds, on Monday nights, 5pm-9pm starting April 4th
In Pembroke MA, at the Medieval Starship on Thursday nights, 5:30pm - 7:30pm, starting March 24th

I know that both these locations are not exactly in Boston, but I believe both to be less than a half hour away, depending on where you live.
