Eliminating the -2 for pop up attacks will double or triple your effective accuracy in such a situation for most TL 6-8 handguns, which is pretty heavy... And firing a Barrett or Laserrifle from the hip and getting full accuracy, I think that is unbalancing. Gunslinger was designed - and thus priced - with handguns in mind. And them, imagine how that will look. Would throw my suspension of disbelief right over the edge... just my opinion, though. |

Re: Gunslinger, Aim, Bracing, and other questions
Gunslinger as written applies somewhat to two-handed weapons, just at 1/2 acc rather than full acc. I think this is important for game balance.

Re: Gunslinger, Aim, Bracing, and other questions
The full 25 point cost can really only be justified when adding in all the extra stuff from HT. Since we aren't adding all of it the cost is dropped to 20. If you only want it to be 1H firearms/guns then the cost is dropped to 15. Seeing as the 1H accessibility listed in HT is only 15, and it has the rest of bonuses added, i think the costs the GM decided on are good enough. It sure beats 25 for only the accuracy bonus and nothing else as it is in the Basic Set. Especially since we are using Acc 2 weapons currently.
