Leveling up after Death
When you die you lose everything except your level, your class, your race, and curses not attached to items you lost. But it says you can't receive anything from Charity and you can't level up. Is that for the rest of the game? Have you essentially lost the ability to level up and win? Or take advantage of someone else dying?

Re: Leveling up after Death
You can't get a level or charity while you are Dead. Since you could die as a helper, and the munchkin you were helping did not die, you can't receive Charity from that player if you happened to have the lowest Level. Also, you could die, and then the other player could suffer Bad Stuff that would allow other players to go up a level. Once the next player's turn comes up however, you are back to life, and everything is back to normal: You can help in combat, you can get charity, and go up levels. When your turn comes around (even if you died just before your turn), you draw a new set of 8 cards and can play any of those that you legally can before kicking open the door.
