Game Component Making in the US?
I am wondering if anyone on this forum has any experience with small scale game manufacturing. A cursory search for game making components has turned up blank playing cards, software and card printing services, blank die of various colors and types and blank die-cut sheets of square counters (as used in traditional hex-board war-games). While these are all good for prototyping and I have plenty in stock, what I am interested in is finding a printer or other company in the USA with the capability of manufacturing components for a game including die-cut parts, cards etc. working from a prototype. It seems that most commercial games distributed in the US are printed in China. However, for a small production (i.e. crowd sourced) game, it seems to make more sense to produce it locally rather than attempt to negotiate impost-export options right away.

Re: Game Component Making in the US?
I have heard generally positive reviews about Game Crafters.
