How would you price these items?
1. A halberd that lets the user fire its spear point as a projectile. Thrusting attack isn’t usable until the point returns 3? 5? Seconds later. Or a melee weapon that can fire a ray of some sort to make a ranged attack.
2. A throwing axe that appears in your hand with a thought; I.e. a fast-drawable throwing axe with automatic success on fast draw. What about simply an axe that can be used with fast draw. 3. Gauntlets that increase your strength only for the purposes of brawling, wrestling, and sumo wrestling. |

Re: How would you price these items?
For the third, take the +ST item listed for Might, halve for more or
less Striking ST only, and maybe tweak it down another 20-33% to a nice number for limiting to certains skills. The first I’d treat exactly as a Loyal weapon (Exploits ~79) based on the tip’s weight, with special effect that you throw with Polearm skill have a staff in the meantime. 3-5 seconds is too slow to matter in combat, it basically becomes a crossbow. The second exists in GURPS Magic I’m pretty’s sure. (DF Magic Items from the first Companion may have some of the effects missing from Adventurers.)
