Re: Advice for building Ogre miniatures
If your assembly went anything like mine, you were too busy chasing down AWOL troopers hiding under furniture to have time to think of it.

Re: Advice for building Ogre miniatures
Infantry, turrets, jet engines...what gets me is that I keep a Mega Bloks box around for Lego-style building toys, but I never thought to use it for miniatures. Herp a derp.

If you've ever assembled MicroTrains Z scale couplers with tiny springs and slippery delrin plastic — that will learn you all about the magic of big box lids and grip to release tweezers!

I have several grip-to-release forceps- old, heavy ones (wish I could find more), and have used them everything from assembly & painting, to folding paper & heat sinks for soldering electronic components. I did pretty good with the first Set 2 minis I built. Only launched one LGEV engine when i fumbled it while picking up the assembly to glue it. Found it pretty easily, though. |
