non-compact castles
I've gotten a lot of mileage out of Compact Castles. Now it's time to ask - where would one go for the other kind? If you need plans and RPG guidelines on things at the scale of, hmm, say, Krak des Chevaliers, Alamut, or Neuschwanstein, what would be the destination? As individual products or a compilation both OK, as are both actual and invented structures. "Visitor's Guide to Himeji Castle" also not exactly what I was thinking of but workable if other material not available. Thanks for the suggestions!

Re: non-compact castles
This thread will have some useful castles. http://forums.sjgames.com/showthread.php?t=88449
Some of the links are to castles that are too large for the Compact Castles project so they are likely what you are after.

Re: non-compact castles
Thanks for the link - great to watch Compact Castles crystallizing over that thread too. The Darkfuries products seem pretty good even if it's tough to top Hârn for thoroughness.

I'm glad you liked the book. Self-publishing is harder than it looks, especially for someone who is used to the quality products that SJG produces and used that as a benchmark.
