Re: Ravens N' Pennies - GURPS Content Posts
I'm also looking for some topics to beef up the Hurt Locker and Boil and Bubble. So if anyone has any thoughts or ideas there - post 'em. For the Hurt Locker, I've already got some entries down for load-outs, so unless it's a really cool idea ignore that part. Basically, I'll looking for ideas for gear. Thanks, y'all!

GURPS101: Wildcard Races
As foretold by prophecy "On the breaking of the keys and their reformation the great codex shall appear and instruct the hero in the ways of its wisdom." Today's a two-fer for patrons. First up is "Wildcard Races" an idea I've had for a while that I originally slatted for Pyramid, but I don't like stuff sitting in the slushpile (there is no slushpile). Why have it sit when I could get it up on Patreon and submit MORE material to Pyramid? Anyways, it's fairly obvious: What would a "wildcard" race look like? Today's content is purely available to Patreon patrons (who can go here for content). Go become a patron if you want to read it.

Gamemaster’s Guidepost: Contemporary Encounter -
The Black Sun Road Also originally a Pyramid article - but now just for Patreons I detail a possible encounter in modern day where walking the Black Sun road can get you into the underworld... Gamemaster's Guidepost: Playing With High Point Totals
I've been asked multiple times how I GM high-point total campaigns. Well, the same way you GM any other campaign if I'm being honest, but there are a few rules and guidelines I try to follow.

I'll admit I love high stats, they cause happiness and joy
Part of it was prior to GURPS experience with other systems, where having an 18 in your primary attribute (or better!) was a reason for joy and celebration Partly because of the default issue so that if no one actually bought Hydrology (is that even a GURPS skill? If so Jaina the Mageling should probably buy it, given she is a Hydromancer) somebody can hopefully wing it well enough, and not end up being 'and now the party goes to Monster.com and posts a want ad for a hydrologist' |
