two player game
There was a card, I think a curse that said lose two cards players to left and right get to chose a random card from your hand to keep. My question is if it is just two people sitting across from each other and no one on each side of you do you do you still lose the cards, and if so do you chose which two or is it random and as the person is across from you do they not get any cards seeing as they are not on your left or right or do they get one card and the other is discarded.
What I did was have the person pick a card to keep random from my hand then another to discard there by me losing two cards. But as per curses if you don't have what it effects then nothing happens doe this applies to all aspects of the card such as not having a player to the left and right would invalidate the card so nothing happens to you because no one on the left and right to take a card just across from you. |

Re: two player game
Munchkin isn't intended to be a two-player game, so there's no official answer to your question. You might find some guidance in the house rules thread in this forum.

Re: two player game
As Andrew said, Munchkin is not for two. Fortunately, the upcoming Munchkin CCG is _designed_ as a two-player game, giving you an alternative way to enjoy the bad jokes and humor of Munchkin. The game ships in February, and you can get an idea of the gameplay in this recent video:
