I will be incommunicato tuesday, wednesday and thursday (2/21, 2/22, and 2/23) for a family vacation. Will post monday and Friday of that week.

I plan to have Lucius step behind Schott and try to fire at one of the bad guys down the hall. Can he anticipate where Sean is going to end up and step the opposite direction to get a clear line of fire? If not what are the penalties?

If Seann goes behind Schott (or more precisely is already there) then the penalties are as described. Basically I'm trying to resolve whether Seann stepped in front of Schott or behind her. If Talosian can clear that up then we know whether we are, otherwise I'll go with the state I recommended: Lucius takes a 0 penalty and Seann takes the -1. If you want to make a Tactics roll (which would be at default) then you could try to usurp Seann's position. Maybe.

Basically we need to know whether Seann will be taking the better position for himself and ignoring Lucius or not. Seann actually has points in Tactics, so he could (in character, so to speak) spot the penalties and shift his position accordingly, or he might decide that it's better to take the position for himself and leave Lucius as rear guard (just because you haven't been attacked from behind doesn't mean I'm being nice, it just means I haven't been nasty yet).

Not entirely sure exactly where everything is, but for convenience, Seann will move wherever gives Lucius a clear shot. Although, Totem has a good point about us needing a rear guard : /

So guess what I learned today! Luck, can be used for all sorts of things that aren't your own roll. Like enemy mages making some sort of nefarious attack against you, like a sleep spell. As long as you don't roll any other rolls in front of that. ... Damn it. (Although I'm guessing the two tens would have changed little...)

But next time, I'll be ready.

He can't bless himself though, and I'm pretty sure Totem said I wasn't able to find anyone with a spare bless.
