Uh, you DID check what campaign Keiko is planning, based on posted questions?

Personally I don't want a vehicle design system. I want a catalogue of pre-generated vehicles that use a set of consistent rules. So I actually do want a VDS but I don't actually need to see it so long as I know it is there :)

Well, you'll just have to wait until the dozen most gearheaded locals buy VDS, and then get back to the forum in a week.

Then you can get back in a few more weeks, and they'll be playtesting weight reductions for chariot wheels. :)

Didn't see in this thread but would be GREAT if we could see novels. it would make a good advertisement and give a second push to GURPS line. Novels about Yrth, Homeline, Cabal, Reich-5.... some exemples?

The Octavius Trilogy
Yrth Chronicle: Fallen Knight of Caithness
The One-Eye Pyramid of Cabal

Each novel could include an adventure related to the story... using Gurps Lite, it could open doors for newbies :)

It's a wonderful world in my head :))

I understand the people who want that really, really, really want it, but I also understand that there's a much larger group who simply don't care about it one way or the other.

So, as somebody who really, really, really wants GURPS In Nomine Fourth Edition, I can understand your feelings... even though I don't share them.

To be fair, more like "we started thinking that we might want it in October 2005, after releasing the new edition in August 2004." It wasn't actually something that we felt was vital to the system initially. Even David had other things he wanted to work on.

I hate to be the downer all the time, but as I've said: Given how few gamers actually want this, it's hard to justify the resources it sucks up. It's an item that could easily use nearly 100% of our manpower for a couple of quarters, just checking all the tables and laying them out, yet that perhaps 10% of our customers will buy. We have to balance that against things that use up 10% of our manpower and reach 25-30% of our customers, which are logically 25-30 times more important to us, and so get turned around in a 4-5 months instead of a decade.
