Wandering monster question?
Here is the scenario.
A player kicks down the door and a monster is waiting for him. No other players have a single monster of the same type or name to add in for free. Another player throws in a monster with a wandering monster card and it's an undead monster. Now two players throw in one undead monster each. So the question is when can you add in the one free type/name monster per player? Is it only on the initial monster found from kicking down the door? Does it also include the monster added from a wandering monster card? Also, does it include the look for trouble step, and if someone used a wandering monster on the look for trouble step? |

Re: Wandering monster question?
First of all, most of the "stacking" monsters do not have a restriction on the number you can add. If you have five Undead monsters in your hand and someone is fighting an Undead monster, you can dump all five of them into his fight.
Second, there's no timing issue -- as long as a stacking monster is in the fight, no matter how it got there, you can stack other monsters of the same type on top of it. The exception to both rules are "Goth" monsters from Cthulhu. In that case, only one Goth can be added and you have to go in turn order to give everyone a chance.
