Start spreading the news . . . !

The Battlefields Kickstarter is anticipated mid-December. It is chock full of Ogre goodies! For our ODE brethren, the long-awaited G3 and S3 maps will be available to complement G1-2 and S1-2. For our O6e comrades, these maps mean the various "green map" scenarios are now playable!

New maps, new counters, new 3-D constructs . . . you're going to love it! I've already dropped some hints [**cough** Oct. 2, 2017 Ogre News **cough**] as to the specifics of the expansion and more previews might be in the works . . .

But I need your help. We have some great stretch goals (to be detailed at a later date) that I really want to see us hit. To that end, I'm asking the Ogre faithful to spread the word. We had over 5,500 backers for Ogre Designer's Edition; I want to see at least a third of them back for this campaign.

More news to come. But please get the word out; this should be a fantastic campaign!

I missed out on the ODE kickstarter but have backed Minis 2 and Ogrezine and have been active spreading the word about those on Twitter and in the monthly gaming meet up I attend. I'll definitely back this and spread the word about it.

Also this sounds like something I'll get a second copy to gift to my little cousin back in the US who I previously gifted 6e & Reinforcements. Kid needs more stuff to enjoy the game. He in turn has already demo'd 6e at his local gaming shop.

That said let me beg of you on behalf of the minority of local fans who live outside CONUS that this kickstarter be made available to international backers. We are few but we are loyal.

From the way folks were clamoring during the Minis 2nd Edition surveys...making a big deal that there's a Vulcan included could bring people out of the woodwork.

Mounted gameboards, the same as the Ogre Designer's Edition and Ogre Sixth Edition boards.

This is intended to be a true expansion of ODE, with completely interchangeable components. Obviously, as Sixth Edition is the same scale as ODE, it is therefore interchangeable with that as well, especially if the extra GEV maps were purchased when they were still available.

I'm looking forward to scenarios where different map-halves are brought together to create new fields of fire!

...and 2 NINJA! Designations FOG and NIGHT.
Will they be colors other than black? Maybe different shades of black? Maybe a lighter shade for "FOG"?
Any possibility NIGHT could be designated NIGHTSTALKER? ;)

Anything in the way of Emplaced Weapons making an appearance?

Note, the image with a Combine CP top piece attached represents a Strongpoint CP.
Atm we have no Combine OGRE MBs or SBs, just the Paneuropean Fencer turrets with 2 MBs and 2 SBs.
Would luv to see:
Combine and Paneuropean OGRE single and double MBs and SBs and Howitzers as separate pieces you can attach to Strongpoints.

Any chance for a Mushroom Cloud Nuke Blast token?
