For the not being able to make a map thing have you looked at the D&D 3.5 web adventure The Crawling Jungle? They key point here is that the jungle moves because it's always centered on a big nasty in the middle, this would mean there can be now maps because nothing is fixed.

thank you for answers. DF 16 has a lot of materials and ideas.
I will create some poisons and venomous clouds for sure. I will make the PCs roll against these effects at the beginning of the journey instead. When they have contact with these dangers, i will simply pick the HT roll in order. In this way they won't know if a poison or a desease has been contracted :D Always loved this idea (for some things, make them roll and letting know that something is wrong, kill the phatos) |
