Default Castellan Edition Differences / Colors

I notice* that there are two different entries on W23 for Castellan, the regular edition and the International Edition. Also, the photo for one is red/blue, while the International one is green/yellow.

(1) What are the differences between the two editions? Are they physically compatible -- same dimensions so all the parts from either link together?

(2) How do you order a specific color for a set? If you want the 4-player version (a red/blue plus a green/yellow set), I don't see a way to specify the color on the W23 order form. Unless, that is, "International" is always green/yellow, and standard is always red/blue.

Green/yellow has rules in five languages, which is why it is the international edition. Otherwise, the only difference is in the colors of the pieces and cards.

And don't forget, they make great castles for use with Ogre Miniatures!

Or anything else. The 9-year-old girl in my household promptly put the pieces to use, building castles for some of her other toys to live in. Faster than Legos! Or throw them down on your TFT megahex map to mark walls, and befuddle the inhabitants of Cidri with the incomprehensibly square and utterly Euclidean geometry of the Outsiders that built those ruins.

(Pro tip: the pieces in the plastic bubble on the front of the box are included in the parts count. They're not just for looks. You need to unpack those to have the proper amount in your set. At least, it seems like a game where "countermix limits" are important.)

Yes. Including those pieces gives you exactly the same number of pieces as are shown on the cards.

Going by my experience as a demo person, it's one of those games that people are hesitant about at first; then they sit down to play it, and they like it, and by the end they're asking where they can buy a copy. (Ditto Revolution.)
