Default Best d20 Compatible Fantasy/Medieval Equipment Guide?

I am looking for a good book for Fantasy/Medieval equipment that is compatible with d20; what would suggest I pick up?

I am looking for a book that, when it has weapons in a class of weapons, will explain the differences in them (e.g., various pole arms); I am looking for a book that, when it has a class of armor will explain the differences in them as well.

But mostly, I am looking for a book that will list the sorts of common everyday (and generally useful) items one would find while walking through a street market in a typical city of the Bronze Age/Middle Ages/Dark Ages etc. as well as some of the more uncommon and strange things that were available.

I would like to see the book broken down in ages and locations it was available, how common it was, and what approximate worth it would have had at the time. If it can also show the differences in what was happening in the east as well as the west, that would be great.

I fully understand that this might not be doable. It is quite possible this sort of book has never been created and published. But I figured if anyone would know, the collective minds on this board would.

What about either version of GURPS Low-Tech, "GURPS DF? Teasure Tables", or Iron Crown Enterprise's "... and a 10 foot pole"?

Neither of these fit perfectly what you want, and none are actively d20 compatible, but if nobody has any better suggestions, go for those. You might even want both versions of Low-Tech.

there isn't such a book that I've found, had to make my own,
used quite a few reference books for my equipment/weapon catalog.
everything from bronze age tech books to frontier early colonial america
illustrated books, illustrated armour books, weapon books and so on.
i haven't found one good extensive gaming book that covers this in
sufficient detail,so i did my own set.
lot of work,but worth it.

I would note that, other than armor and weapons, almost everything you want is system-independent, so there's little need for a d20 gaming book, or even a gaming book at all (though non-gaming books probably don't actually have the sorts of lists you're after). GURPS Low-Tech is as good a reference as any I'm aware of, figure $1 = 1 sp.

could you send me your e mail?
it is extensive, the way i did was to group my items by type of items and then
catagorize them by tech lvl and culture that produced them so i could mirrpr
trade between cultures.
every item on my lists represent a commen specimen and are priced as such,
i then have a table that adjusts the costs for cheaper made items or more expensive
better made items and a table for decoration lvl of items which adjust cost.
tempering,inlay,filigree,etching,color ans scarcity of dye,rarity,etc.
i have most of this info in spiral notebooks,a lot of the 'fantasy'items i have typed out
on my computer,
and had to add in some catagories pertinant to a fantasy world which in most cases
can be made from real world earth materials, but some materials have their own
stand alone tables or lists, such as adamantium, feather steel(unique to my fantasy world),
mage tech items,etc.
whats cool about doing your own lists is you can get as detailed and extensive as you want.

so all your needing is dark ages to medieval period tech then?
no gun powder, mail, lamellar, coat of plates, quilted, padded, textile based armor,
basically viking age period stuff.
